Job description and summary
A career within financial services solutions will provide you with the opportunity to use sophisticated models to evaluate complex financial instruments and design strategies that reduce risk and enhance business opportunities for our clients. We assist with a variety of financial and valuation-related issues, as well as develop and test financial models, model risk scenarios, validate expertise across various financial domains, and provide comprehensive analyzes that address client financing issues.

– Risk and regulation (Basel … IFRS)
Capital markets (eg stock exchange)
– credit risk market,
– central banking regulations,
– securities regulations,
– Fintech regulations,
Capital Market Regulations
Liquidity risk
– operational risks,
– Basil 3 and 4,
– SAS programming (very critical)
Responsibilities:
Reporting to a manager within a financial services practice, the Senior Consultant will participate in cross-functional engagement teams to develop and deliver strategic change in complex and challenging environments in a disruptive or accelerated growth industry:
Assist in advising financial services clients on strategic matters and playing a role in designing solutions that can help address complex issues, achieve sustainable results and demonstrate real impact
Collaborate with colleagues throughout the client mission and contribute to a winning team by taking responsibility for assigned courses of action with limited supervision from senior team members, demonstrating ownership and accountability at all times
Assist in training junior team members within the financial services practice by sharing knowledge, advice and experience in helping others develop, grow and succeed
Serving a diverse group of clients, learning about their unique business needs, and establishing a relationship and a strong element of trust between you and the client industry in which you operate
Leverage company and private resources to keep pace with current regional and global economic and business trends, specifically in the financial services sector and in proportion to your evolving skill set so that you can help shape our clients’ thinking and our success in the market
Assisting with business development opportunities by researching and writing winning proposals to support our clients across the Middle East region
Working with colleagues across all Middle East offices on client work and internal initiatives as well as networking with global resources and leveraging credentials not only locally but also globally
Manage work flows, seek guidance and support when needed, learn all the time and deliver exceptional quality that meets or even exceeds customer expectations.
requirements:
Willing to travel up to 90% of the time (Saudi Arabia based connections)
– Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
Mandatory proficiency in English and Arabic, ideally speaking and writing
– Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
4-5 years of previous advisory experience in financial services (preferably a senior 4 or similar)
– Relationship building and business development skills
Demonstrate influencing, negotiation and presentation skills as well as business analysis
Understand basic project management features
Self-starter with credible business vision and deal closing knowledge
Attention to detail with a real appetite for growth
– A fast learner with an ability to technical systems and concepts
Proactive in nature by demonstrating initiatives and demonstrating creativity in solving problems
