The multinational manufacturing company is looking for a Compliance Manager to manage third party agents, ensure ethical and legal compliance and combat bribery/corruption.
The role will work across multiple markets to build relationships with third party agents/distributors (TPI) and relevant commercial managers in order to drive third party performance.
basic tasks
• Manage TPIs by procedure
• Work closely with Relationship Managers in order to implement strategies where necessary TPIs (Distributors and Agents) that aim to deliver long-term value to both the company and customers
• Identification and assignment of new TPIs in the region in accordance with the channel strategy and relevant policies to approve the new TPIs
• Work closely with the business and legal team in managing any contractual changes/renewals of TPI agreements.
• Ensure that TPIs operate in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Environmental, Health and Safety policy and practice. Ensure that TPIs receive online anti-bribery and corruption training/face-to-face training where possible.
• Establishing a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption
• Regular review of distributor/agent capabilities, suitability of business and commercial terms and conditions to form a solid platform for growth in the sector and target geography
• Work closely with business and finance to ensure appropriate oversight and approvals of commission payments.
• Communicate TPIs and related feedback to sector functions (strategy, technology, etc.)
• Lead/participate in TPI health checks and any investigations.
• Manage termination of TPI relationships as and when required
• Support all efforts to complete semi-annual reports by Relationship Managers and to complete regional summaries.
• Support the TPI management function on internal projects related to quality and improvements.
• Work closely within the TPI management team in developing procedures/processes/training etc.
• You will be experienced in commercial compliance (Anti-bribery and corruption) with an understanding of the third party system.
• Experience in contract negotiation and reporting on financial performance is required as is an understanding of compliance risks associated with third party agents/distributors.
• You will also have experience defining and implementing best practices and be able to influence cross-functional sales and technical teams.
