Coast Guard Commander launches firs aid course

Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): The Commander of the Coast Guard launched a three-day first aid course for its employees at the Maritime Training Pavilion.

The course was organized for 12 non-commissioned officers and civilians from the Coast Guard Command and various departments of the Ministry of Interior.

The leader explained that the course aims to raise the efficiency of employees in performing their duties and providing security and safety.

The first stage of the course includes an introduction to first aid, the contents of the first aid kit, degrees of burns, types of fractures and bleeding, and all their treatments.

Phase two includes a hands-on session on CPR, CPR, and how to use the AED.
