Cloudlusion is a newly formed organization within the EMEA Technology Cloud Engineering (TCE) group, whose mission is to drive customer consumption growth by driving rapid activation, nurturing optimal intensification and removing technical barriers.

Aligning with an area and working alongside Sales and Account Engineers (ACEs), the Cloud Certification Manager will focus primarily on the post-reservation aspect of our clients’ lifecycle, ensuring successful and sustainable growth of cloud consumption.

Role and Responsibilities

The Cloud Certification Manager will collaborate closely, as needed, with the relevant TCE teams to agree on specific activities and/or deliverables required in each of the accounts they manage. The ultimate goal is to optimize the use and growth of Oracle Cloud while creating a robust customer experience across the entire cloud adoption lifecycle

Activate the client quickly and smoothly
Strong focus on activation for new cloud customers and/or workloads, reducing time to first value and accelerating consumption growth
Provide standard methodological guidance in the landing area in line with the activities of our workload engineers
Provide the customer with relevant knowledge for early use
Manage client approval plan
Continuously monitor and review the adoption plan with the client to ensure progress is in line with their expectations, facilitating value realization
Monitor and anticipate consumption fluctuations and identify and implement corrective actions
Proactively monitor burn rates and provide consumption forecasts
– Assessing disruption risks (customer or service) and formulating a mitigation plan
Detecting and pointing to potential new workloads (to ACEs – Account Cloud Engineers) or new implementation opportunities (to LIFTs)
– Drive Go Live Assurance to ensure success on this critical milestone for the customer
Provide ‘long-term’ customer assistance on the environment already in production through process monitoring and improvement consulting
– Stimulate customer interest by sharing information and facilitating communication with related Oracle activities
Share and/or recommend specific modular methodologies and content to clients/industry

– Ensure prompt progress and resolution of special requests and escalations by engaging relevant teams and advocating for clients
Identify structural issues affecting customer use of Oracle Cloud and initiate conversations with relevant teams (Cloud Ops, Product Management, and Sales) to formulate a solution plan
Act as an advocate for product features and requirements

Skills and profile
– To fulfill the role of CAM, we are looking for individuals matching the following profile:
Proven experience in Tech Cloud engineering roles with a proven track record of successful client engagements.
Passionate about technology with breadth and depth of knowledge
– Certified in OCI (or equivalent certifications from competition) – Minimum level of OCI Foundations Associate
Solid understanding of the competitive landscape Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP or Azure is an added advantage
IT Market Literacy – Able to advise on technology standards methodologies by understanding cloud market trends and their impact on different industries
High energy and social skills

Communication – Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort in speaking across all levels of management and IT roles
