Job description and summary
The Customers and Markets team is a team of dedicated professionals who focus on marketing, business development and customer pursuit. A career in the Customer and Markets team, within Assurance, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the assurance business and implement our assurance strategy through meaningful data insights, actionable customer and competitor insights, as well as the effective use of our CRM system. In a Business Development role, you will support the assurance business by performing extensive data analysis and creating strategic dashboards, being a Salesforce subject matter expert and highly skilled colleagues across Assurance, creating effective written communications and implementing the PwC brand across all of our content. You will collaborate with other areas of the company and colleagues in other regions of the Middle East to ensure that our initiatives support the assurance strategy as well as PwC’s overall strategy.

Situation Summary

The Senior Assurance Proposal Associate will be responsible for supporting the Middle East Assurance hunt and the Proposal Manager in managing quest opportunities, presenting proposals that are distinctive, compelling and tailored to the client for competitive bidding. This role will also include the use and development of pursuit tools to ensure that information is readily available to facilitate the company’s fulfillment of its business needs. In addition to supporting the collection of customer insights.

responsibilities
Support the Assurance chase and Proposal Manager on high value, strategic proposal and pitch opportunities for the Service Assurance Line.
Lead in the management of end-to-end bids and pitches on their own, along with relevant engagement teams, from developing proposal drafts, with evaluation of RFPs/client requirements, to developing proposal structures and identifying winning themes for creating targeted messaging.
– Coordination of resources (designers, document production, technical subject specialists, etc.) to drive the effective development of proposals.
Engage with broader business development teams, BU Assurance leaders and key stakeholders to confirm and support proposals.
Support the confirmation chase and proposal manager in the process of ensuring client feedback, gaining insights after client decisions on competitive bidding. This will include working directly with the central customer feedback team, tracking customer meetings, compiling writing summaries of insights, and supporting knowledge transfer back into the business.
Work on gathering sources for specific research on key target topics relevant to individual business units across the Service Assurance Line.
– Joint support in the management and maintenance of our warehouses for follow-up and proposals. Including updating internal knowledge management systems, resource folder, master proposal templates, resume library, project databases, and trackers.
-Assist in the monthly arrangement and updates of status reports and validation of assurance leadership and business unit leads.
– Supporting the compilation and drafting of the content of the monthly newsletter.
Collaborate with the Assurance Marketing team to leverage industry expertise and extract valuable information for follow-up and proposal opportunities.
Act as champion of the View Source (our one-stop shop for anything proposal related) for confirmation, to ensure our best practice proposals are uploaded to the global tool.

education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Studies, Journalism, Research or Business Administration.

Languages
– Fluent in both Arabic and English, both spoken and written.

Comprehensive experience
At least 3-4 years in Offer Management, Business Development or Marketing.

Excellent verbal and persuasive writing/communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Strong strategic thinking.
Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines.
Beginner, process driven and able to juggle multiple projects.
Great account management skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders at any time.
Great skills in information management and research.

Knowledge and skills
Extensive experience in using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office packages.
Strong knowledge of G Suite tools is also useful, including Google Slides.
Knowledge of professional service industry is an advantage.
Automation skills an advantage.
Efficiency in Salesforce is an advantage.
– Proficiency in PowerBi and Alteryx is an advantage.
