Manama, October 5 (BNA) The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that the monthly issuance of short-term Islamic leasing bonds “Sukuk Ijarah” has exceeded 400%.
Subscriptions of BD 104 million have been received for the BD 26 million issue which matures within 182 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins on October 7 and matures on April 7, 2022, is 1.43% compared to 1.49% for the previous issue on September 9.
Ijara Sukuk are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This is Issue No. 194 (BH00069D5D71) of the Ijara Short Term Sukuk Series.
