CBB raises key interest rate

Manama, May 4 (BNA) The Central Bank of Bahrain decided today to raise the basic interest rate. The CBB policy key rate on the one-week deposit facility has been raised from 1.25% to 1.75%.

The Central Bank of Bahrain also decided to raise the overnight deposit rate from 1.00% to 1.50%, the four-week deposit rate from 1.75% to 2.50% and the lending rates from 2.50% to 3.00%.
