We are looking for innovative category professionals with an analytical mind to join our teams in the Asian and Seafood category. The Category Specialist will be tasked with working in close collaboration with the sales team, providing training, conducting in-depth market research and preparing sales forecasts, as well as updating existing marketing strategies. He must also be able to adjust sales policies and make recommendations for business growth.
responsibilities
Provide product demonstrations to employees and customers, and take the lead in resolving complaints.
Analyze sales team performance in the selected category and schedule training/activation sessions as needed
Conduct market research and share results with the team.
Work alongside the team to develop strategies to increase customer base and sales.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and allocate resources to achieve goals.
Maintain excellent customer relationships built on trust, and encourage the rest of the sales team to follow this example.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or similar.
You must have at least 3-5 years of experience in a sales environment with a focus on Asian ingredients/foods
Must possess a valid UAE driving license
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proven network capabilities
High degree of diplomacy, tact and ability to work with people of different ethereal backgrounds.
