Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas – UAE
We are hiring a Business Development Manager for a reputable multinational inspection, insurance and certification company in Abu Dhabi. This role suits someone with significant experience selling services to the oil and gas sector in the UAE, and a strong network of relationships with key decision makers in both national and international oil and gas companies.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development and development of the Industrial Company’s services primarily on Third Party Inspection / Asset Integrity / Lifting Equipment Inspection and related services to the Oil & Gas sector across the UAE. This position will develop specific growth strategies to generate leads, sales and market awareness which will directly lead to revenue growth for the UAE market.
– Develop a clear understanding of the company’s products and service offerings to clients and potential clients.
Develops and implements sales plans, objectives and forecasts, directs the implementation of approved sales plans, marketing programs and promotional activities for new and existing services.
Generates targeted annual revenue growth through lead-in direct sales activities including opportunity identification, pipeline management, evaluation, negotiations and deal execution, focusing on core services such as on-site project inspections, vendor inspections, QA/QC, and in-service verification , asset safety, lifting equipment inspection and related services.
Proactively strengthens, strengthens and expands the company’s relationships with industry clients.
Maintaining and developing new and existing customers through appropriate proposals and sales methods to improve service quality, business growth and customer satisfaction.
– Provide monthly/quarterly sales forecasts.
– Take surveys and create well-defined quotes
Monitoring and reporting on the local market and competitors’ activities and providing relevant reports and information.
Attend and attend external client meetings and internal meetings with other company functions needed to perform duties and assist in business development.
Use the activities, tools and systems to communicate with the company’s clients and potential, and to update the relevant information contained in these systems, in accordance with the company’s handbook
Attend training as required to enhance relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.

– Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or related field
Experience with a private third party, profit-driven companies highly desirable.
Must have strong sales experience in UAE.
Minimum 8 years experience in related industry, including at least 3 years in a management role.
Ability to provide company services to global/multinational industrial companies, ministries and government-owned entities
