BTV telethon to raise funds for earthquake victims

Manama, Feb. 16 (BNA): A live television session will be held for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, in cooperation with Bahrain TV (BTV), at 5:00 pm on Friday, on the occasion of the convening of the National Committee to Support Turkey and Earthquake Victims. Syria said.

The three-hour fundraising campaign follows the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to provide urgent relief humanitarian aid to support earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, and an invitation from Representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to citizens and residents to contribute to supporting national efforts to help those affected.

Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed expressed his appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad, Honorary President of His Majesty King Hamad, for his continuous humanitarian initiatives to help people and provide relief to those in need around the world.

He also expressed his appreciation for the great support the fund receives from the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Dr. Al-Sayed expressed his sincere appreciation to His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser, for his support and guidance in forming the National Committee to Support Earthquake Victims in Turkey and Syria.
