Manama, May 4 (BNA): The Bahrain Journalists Association announced that it will hold elections for its board of directors on Saturday, June 3 at its annual meeting.
The BJA will invite members to attend the meeting at least two weeks prior to the scheduled date.
The proposed agenda, literary and financial reports, and the final account for the fiscal year will be attached to the invitation.
The association called on all members to settle their membership statuses by contacting the chairman of the membership committee before the meeting.
Candidates can register up to 15 days before the scheduled election date. Registration will close three days before the 3rd of June.
