Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): Hope Ventures, the investment arm of the Hope Fund and the producers of the Beban TV program, participated in investing $153,000 in Herbal Dose and L7 Chocolate along with the private sector in the sixth episode of the second season of Beban.
Herbal Dose, an organic brand of hair care and skin care products made with certified organic, natural ingredients and scented with organic essential oils, was founded by Aida Mohamed, and raised $100,000 from Hope Ventures and the private sector represented by Youssef Al-Sultan and Mashael Fairouz.
While L7 Chocolate, a bakery run by Lujain Hussain, a 15-year-old Bahraini pastry chef, that bakes and makes products such as cakes, ice cream and desserts, raised $53,000 from Hope Ventures and the private sector represented by Akram Meknes and Yousef. The Sultan and Fayrouz’s torches.
