BDF opens registration for civilians to volunteer in reserve force

Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): The Bahrain Defense Force announced the start of registration for the third batch of volunteers to join the Reserve Force, for relatives of workers and retirees in the Bahrain Defense Force and the National Guard (military and civil). ).




The applicant must be Bahraini, between the ages of 18 and 55, be of good conduct and not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or dishonesty, be medically fit for military service in the reserve force and successfully pass the medical examination stipulated accordingly. To the military medical committees of the Bahrain Defense Force. The age limit does not apply to technicians and specialists.



Applicants must fill out the form available on the website, BDF added.



In the first stage, registration is limited to male citizens whose relatives belong to the Bahrain Defense Force or the National Guard.


In the second phase, registration will be open to males and females from the community.



The Reserve Forces Law, promulgated in 1987, regulates all the rights and duties of the Reserve Force as an auxiliary force for the Bahrain Defense Force as well as the benefits and entitlements.
