Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): Purchase requests submitted by government agencies, valued at about 16 million Bahraini dinars, were discussed at the 57th meeting of the Information and Communication Technology Governance Committee (ICTGC).
The committee covered topics including a project to improve the methods of measuring water consumption in the Electricity and Water Authority, which aims to improve the exchange of information between the different systems.
The center reviewed the enhancement of communications in the Ministry of Finance and National Economy through cloud computing technologies, which will reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.
He also reviewed the development of electronic services for drug licensing at the National Health Regulatory Authority, in line with a plan to digitize and simplify all medical services for health centers, as well as projects and purchase requests related to improving information technology services in several government agencies. .
