BCCI backs HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s efforts

Manama, September 27 (BNA) The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry held today a regular consultative meeting for the Board of Directors at the House of Traders.

Samir Abdullah Nass, President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, chaired the remote session, which was held via video conference, in the presence of members of the advisory board and chairmen of the committees.

In the virtual session, he was briefed on the two meetings held by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with the President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and his deputies, highlighting recommendations related to the economic sector.

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry has supported the efforts of His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support the economy and lead progress and prosperity, highlighting the government’s direction to enhance economic sustainability.

The President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for laying the foundations for a wide-ranging development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He said that His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister briefed them on the government’s initiatives and priority projects during the period 2019-2022 aimed at revitalizing the trade and industry sectors.

Nass stressed the vital importance of strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors to overcome current challenges and mitigate the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
