Bahraini woman wins Ideal Mother Award

Cairo, May 7 (BNA): The Royal Humanitarian Foundation participated in the Seventh International Festival of the Ideal Mother, which was held in Luxor, Egypt.


The event was organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the Mohammed bin Rashid Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, the Meshwar Foundation for Development, and Luxor University.


During the festival, the representative of Bahrain, Afaf Mahmoud Al-Moussawi, won the Ideal Mother Award, in recognition of her efforts and giving.


On this occasion, the Secretary-General of the Health Care Foundation, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, expressed his pride in Afaf Al-Musawi’s success in winning the award, which confirms the Kingdom’s support for mothers, and reflects the role of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation in providing all forms of care. For widows and orphans, under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the efforts of His Majesty’s deputies in humanitarian work and youth affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.


Afaf Al-Moussawi expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for his paternal care for the families sponsored by the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, praising the support of the government under the leadership of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister for the Fund and the interest of His Highness. Sheikh Nasser in providing all kinds of care for his affiliates.

She emphasized that their continuous support for all widows and orphans helped her achieve success and win the prestigious award.

She also expressed her thanks to Dr. Al-Sayed for his continuous support to the families sponsored by the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and his keenness to follow up on their affairs.


She also praised all the employees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation for their keenness to perform their duties to the fullest, which is reflected in the quality of the services they provide.
