Manama. June 27 (BNA): The Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa affirmed the depth of the historical and strategic relations between Bahrain and the United States.
He also stressed the strength of their cooperation and partnership at all levels, in light of the attention given by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Sheikh Salman, in receiving the US Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Yael Lambert, stressed the advanced levels of Bahraini-US relations, especially at the financial and economic levels.
He pointed out the keenness to enhance cooperation and coordination towards broader horizons to achieve common aspirations.
The meeting discussed issues of common interest and the latest developments in the global economy.
