Bahrain to play Thailand in friendly match

Manama, May 23 (BNA) Bahrain will host the Bahrain national football team tomorrow, Tuesday, in a friendly football match.

The national team is organizing a training camp until the end of this month ahead of the 2023 Asian Cup qualifiers to be held in Malaysia.

Bahrain was drawn into Group E, which includes the host country Malaysia, in addition to Bangladesh and Turkmenistan.

The national team is scheduled to play Myanmar on Friday before facing Thailand on May 31 in two other friendlies.

The Portuguese national team, led by Portuguese coach Helio Sousa, conducted training sessions over the past three days, with the support of the technical team, which includes first assistant coach Jose Carneiro, second assistant coach Ahmed Issa, and another crew.
