Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Committee holds meeting

Manama, May 14 (BNA): The second meeting of the Coordination Committee in the fields of investment, environment and infrastructure between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was held today.


The meeting was attended by the Minister of Transport and Communications, Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Kaabi, and the Saudi Minister of Investment, Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih.


The two sides emphasized the basic pillars and common foundations that unite the Kingdom of Bahrain and the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing the commitment of the leadership of the two countries to strengthening bilateral relations.


Al-Kaabi affirmed the long-standing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, pointing to the commitment of the two countries to strengthening joint cooperation frameworks in the areas of joint investment, environment and infrastructure.


He praised the interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the bilateral relations between the two countries.


He noted the main role played by the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. During the meeting, they discussed the most important developments related to the initiatives that fall within the scope of work of the Coordination Committee in the fields of investment, environment and infrastructure.
