Bahrain participates in Arab Labour Conference

Cairo, May 23 (BNA): The Bahraini delegation, headed by Labor Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, participated in the 49th session of the Arab Labor Conference, which was organized by the Arab Labor Organization of the League. Arab countries, held here on May 22 and 29.

He stressed that the government will continue to conduct a periodic review of labor initiatives and legislation in line with the standards of the International Labor Organization.

The minister referred to the report of the Director General of ALO for the current session under the title (Social Dialogue between Current Challenges and Future Prospects), which seeks to come up with a set of decisions that would support sustainable economic growth and confront global policy, economic and technological challenges to enhance the ability of the economy and society to contain the resulting changes.
