Bahrain Joins IMD World Talent Ranking

Manama, December 8 (BNA): Bahrain appeared for the first time in the World Talent Ranking (WTR) issued by the International Center for Competitiveness of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), ranking 35th in the world.

The inclusion of Bahrain in the ranking reinforces the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to developing its human capital and developing a center for talent at the international level in a competitive manner.

The Kingdom ranked first in the world in 15 countries across 13 indicators.

The WTR assesses how well countries develop, attract, and retain talent, and ranks 63 countries across three factors (Investment and Development, Attractiveness, and Readiness).

These factors are measured through both hard data and questionnaire responses from the Executive Survey published on the private sector.

The report highlighted the extent of the skill of Bahrain’s labor force, as the Kingdom ranked fifth globally in the skilled labor index.

Bahrain talent possesses a set of strong financial skills that led the Kingdom to lead the Arab world and rank seventh globally in the financial skills index.

From a linguistic perspective, organizations can expect Bahraini talent to meet and exceed their expectations, which is reinforced by Bahrain leading in the Arab world and ranking 11th globally in the language skills index.
