Bahrain Islamic Index closes higher

Manama, January 31 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,928.24 points, recording a decrease of 2.29 points from the previous close.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the materials sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 658.53 points, registering an increase of 0.13 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 49 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 570,323, with a value of 269,462 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the non-Bahraini companies sector with a percentage of 40.69% of the total value of traded securities.
