Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, received Armin Laschet, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the German Bundestag.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors affirmed keenness to strengthen Bahraini-German parliamentary relations and exchange legislative expertise.
He praised the close relations between the two countries, and their development in various fields, which is reflected in the firm approach taken by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al-Saleh praised the growing diplomatic relations between Bahrain and Germany and stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in various fields.
Laschet expressed his pride in the depth of the historical bilateral relations and praised Bahrain’s contribution to supporting the principles of coexistence, tolerance and dialogue and its fruitful work to spread peace and stability.
He praised the Kingdom’s launch of the Bahrain Declaration, and stressed the reflection of the noble civilization and the Kingdom’s history, which made Bahrain a global model of multiculturalism, civilizations and religions.
