Bahrain Football Association allocates three prizes

Manama, April 27 (BNA): Riffa striker Mohammed Marhoon was chosen as the best player in the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League for the 2021-2022 season.

The Bahrain Football Association’s competition committee also chose Al-Khalidiya player Sayed Shubr Al-Alawi as the best goalkeeper.

The top scorer will also be announced at the end of the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League.

Manama club striker Mahdi Abdul-Jabbar has a good chance to be crowned top scorer, as he has the most goals.

“The three stars will be honored during the ceremony that will be held to crown the Premier League champion for Nasser bin Hamad,” said Muhannad Al-Ansari, head of the AFC Competitions Committee.

Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BFA, directed the allocation of three individual awards to reward the best player, best goalkeeper and best scorer.

The selection of winners is based on analytical statistics conducted by Instat.
