Manama, May 7 (BNA) The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted the West Sinai water pumping station in Egypt, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of Egyptian Armed Forces soldiers.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the government, people and families of the martyrs, wishing all the injured a speedy recovery.
He affirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with Egypt in its war on terrorism, and its full support for all measures it takes in confronting extremist terrorist organizations and preserving the country’s security and stability and the safety of its citizens and residents.
The ministry expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pride in the sacrifices of the Egyptian armed forces in protecting Egypt’s security and stability, praising the Egyptian stances in defending Arab national security and deterring foreign interference targeting the region and its peoples.
He reiterated Bahrain’s categorical rejection of violent crimes, extremism and terrorism in all its forms, calling for the need to unify the efforts of the international community to confront this dangerous phenomenon.
