Manama, October 11 (BNA): Bahrain General Index closed at 1,698.67 points, recording a decrease of 2.30 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the telecom services sector, the financial sector and the industrial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at the level of 670.23 points, recording a decrease of 3.93 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 121 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 5,848,765, with a value of 1,171,462 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 56.14% of the total value of traded securities.
