Manama, June 23 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,816.35 points, recording a decrease of 12.32 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the communications services sector, the consumer sector, the financial sector, and the materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 671.69 points, an increase of 0.67 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 70 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 1,362,874, with a value of 571,387 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 48.60% of the total value of traded securities.
