Colorado, Feb. 10 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, met with representatives of the Chief Operating Officer of the American Space Corporation, Shelly Brunswick, the Vice President for Strategic Affairs and International Relations, Tsyif Eisenhart, and the Vice President of the American Space Corporation. During the visit, the ambassador praised the strong bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America in many fields, especially in the field of space cooperation.
He noted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s accession to a cooperation agreement with Artemis regarding global space cooperation, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
This announcement came within the framework of the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United States of America in March 2022, and the launch of the Bahraini-Emirati satellite “One Light”. in December 2021.
During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation in the field of space were also discussed through educational programs, capacity development, industrial applications and regional activities offered by the center.
