Bahrain Ambassador to US meet Iowa Governor

Des Moines, Feb. 6 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, met with Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and Deputy Governor Adam Gregg.

The ambassador praised the Bahraini-American relations in various fields, especially in enhancing security and stability in the region.

He highlighted cooperation in the field of food security and agricultural technology.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the development efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain towards achieving food security within the comprehensive development vision led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The ambassador stressed the importance of enhancing food security for the Kingdom to achieve Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and achieve sustainable development goals.

Governor Reynolds and Deputy Governor Greg praised the Kingdom’s economic vision 2030, especially in diversifying economic sources of income, achieving sustainable development goals, and the Kingdom’s commitment to the issue of food security.
