Bahrain All Share Index, Islamic Index end trading higher

Manama, February 27 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,939.06 points, recording an increase of 1.73 points over the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecommunications services sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector, the materials sector, and the real estate sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 662.41 points, recording an increase of 0.16 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 101 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 1,725,347 at a value of 779,744 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the materials sector and account for 51.84% of the total value of securities traded.
