Bahrain All Share Index, Islamic Index end trading higher

Manama, September 29 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1703.22 points, an increase of 1.43 points over the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecom services and materials sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 669.33 points, recording an increase of 0.67 points from the previous closing.

The results indicated that 107 stock transactions were made with a volume of 3,421,933 with a value of BD 924,440.

Investors mainly trade in the materials sector with 63.56% of the total value of traded securities.
