Bahrain All Share Index, Islamic Index close higher

Manama, February 12 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,939.63 points, recording an increase of 2.65 points over the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecommunications services sector, the financial sector and the real estate sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 666.92 points, recording an increase of 6.74 points over the previous close.

The results indicated that 112 transactions were made on property rights of 4,502,496, with a value of 615,556 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the financial sector accounting for 74.12% of the total value of traded securities.
