Bahrain All Share Index closes higher

Manama, March 29 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,894.37 points, an increase of 14.71 points from the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecommunications services sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector, and the materials sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 660.30 points, registering an increase of 2.47 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 173 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 8,243,064, with a value of 2,705,475 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the materials sector and account for 61.73% of the total value of securities traded.
