Manama, May 5 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 2,054.30 points, recording a decrease of 1.85 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the telecom services sector and the financial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 744.73 points, recording a decrease of 2.05 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 52 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 668.505, with a value of 244.109 Bahraini Dinars.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 64.50% of the total value of traded securities.
