Manama, March 29 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today Turkey’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Essen Şakil and her accompanying delegation.
The visit comes within the framework of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities’ efforts to enhance cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Sheikha Mai stressed that the fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Turkey are solid, pointing to the common cultural heritage between the two sides. She discussed with the Turkish ambassador ways to enhance bilateral relations through various cultural programmes.
The Turkish ambassador expressed his keenness to enhance cultural cooperation, stressing the need to exert more efforts to advance the cultures of the two countries.
