Audit offices to face action for alleged violations

Manama, October 10 (BNA) The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism referred two auditing offices to the Auditors Disciplinary Board, after violations related to the audit.

The ministry affirmed in a statement that it will spare no effort to control all abuses and deal with them in accordance with the provisions of the law in a way that enhances transparency, sustainability and confidence in the commercial and economic conditions in Bahrain, and contributes to attracting investments and enhancing the Kingdom’s reputation.

The ministry called on audit offices to fully comply with the rules, regulations and professional legislation that regulate their work as auditors in Bahrain.
