the opportunity
As part of the core account team, reporting to the region’s business development leader and with a close association with some of EY’s senior leaders, you will focus your time on activities to enable the achievement of the goal related to account satisfaction, administration and management. Responsible for implementing the global account activation strategy and planning in collaboration with the account leadership in the region. The Account Coordinator will work with the Global Customer Service Partner (GCSP), Business Development Leader (BDL) and Customer Executive Director (CE) to drive global account activation; sales and program management; Account communications and management. The Account Manager ensures that all of the company’s locations and service lines (SLs) are actively operating around our largest and most complex global accounts and that we provide exceptional customer service (ECS) in all our internal and external encounters.
basic tasks
Implement global account activation strategy, methodology and processes at the account level
Support business account strategy with account leadership and lead global implementation of the account plan
Support service line planning and account integration activity and prepare and facilitate account meetings
Responsible for following up on account actions by tracking the progress of deadlines and driving activity
Proactively liaise with account team members to drive account actions and initiative
Assist in managing the annual global revenue planning process
Own and coordinate the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) process
Manage the account flow process and promote discipline across the global team
Coordinate the search for opportunities and work closely with key partners
Defining EY’s thought leadership and visions to share with the client
Acts as a subject matter expert for all account related information
Manage external accounts coordinator(s) if applicable Oversee pipeline management, financial analysis, sales cycle support, client research and plan management
Provide administrative support for scheduling account meetings and any other administrative tasks
– Liaise with account managers/coordinators locally and worldwide to share best practices across the EY account network
Establishes and manages expectations with account stakeholders
Success skills and attributes
Strong knowledge of account management processes and tools
Excellent writing, pronunciation and presentation skills, including proficiency in English and Arabic
– Strategic and analytical thinking skills
– High attention to detail and sound organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
– Proactive action/follow-up items, input/ideas and making a difference in the account
To qualify you must have
– Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree (preferably with a focus in Marketing or Business) or equivalent relevant experience
5+ years of Account Coordination/Management or similar related experience, ideally acquired within a global multinational company
Experience in professional services preferred but not essential
Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Proven sound judgment and flexibility in balancing multiple project requirements, tight deadlines, keeping people and projects moving on schedule, with keen attention to detail
