As a Principal Sales Consultant, you will be responsible as an expert for formulating and leading the pre-sales technical/functional support activity for clients and potential clients while ensuring customer satisfaction. Serves as a technical resource and mentor to less experienced sales consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develop productivity tools and training for other sales consultants. Develops and delivers Oracle’s premium offerings and demos. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Provides advice to internal and external clients on the architect’s comprehensive solutions.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, provides direction and guidance to others. The work is highly non-routine and complex, and involves the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization.
3 years salesman (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years of business experience with computer applications or related databases/tools. The ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrate project management skills. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, explanations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
