Manama, February 13 (BNA): Schools in Bahrain today conducted the first mock test as part of the Ministry of Education’s program on international IELTS and TOEFL exams.
13,000 Year 12 students in 41 secondary schools took an English language test in its three main sections: listening, reading and writing.
Another test is scheduled for February 19-22 to assess speaking skill. All exams are scheduled as part of the academic school day to ensure that the learning process is not affected. Students will take the second practice exam in May after undergoing an intensive program of practice on the skills and sections of the exam.
